Have you recently purchased a new Microsoft Windows computer and noticed classic outlook missing from your Microsoft 365 Office apps or the icon appears, but you get an error when you click on it?
Have you reinstalled Microsoft 365 Office with your Microsoft 365 Family or Personal subscription and noticed classic outlook missing from your Office apps?
The reason is because starting in late 2024, majority of new computers are now preinstalled with the new Outlook for Windows and don’t ship with classic Outlook anymore, plus Microsoft 365 Family or Personal subscriptions no longer include classic Outlook with Microsoft 365 Office.
If you still prefer to use the classic Outlook, a standalone version of classic Outlook for Windows is available for you to download and install.
